We went for their happy hour on a Friday night. They have an amazing happy hour Monday-Friday 3-5. All their snacks are 50% off. House cocktails and all glasses of wine are $10. You can't beat that! The space is chic and quaint. It looked like there was outdoor seating, but with it being the hottest days of August we gladly stayed in the AC. With the small space and all hard surfaces, it gets loudly very quickly. Having a private conversation could be difficult. But if you want to eavesdrop on the relationship drama from the table across the room, get your popcorn ready! The staff were awesome. All our courses were timed perfectly. They kept our glasses full and they were very professional and friendly. Since the happy hour was so good, we ordered everything but the beef tartare. The charcuterie board was amazing. The surprising star of the board was the smoked, pickled carrots. You get the smokiness first followed by the tanginess of the vinegar. The sourdough bread was fresh and an excellent compliment to the board. The beet & feta was delicious. The lemon oil added a nice complexity to such a simple dish (and also tasted great with the bread). The brussel sprouts were fine, but nothing special. They weren't as crispy as I would have liked. The burrata dish was delicious and refreshing. The Josephine burger was a healthy portion. It was cooked to perfection. The aioli and grilled onions were delicious and added the right amount of flavor without overpowering. The frites had just the right amount of crisp and a fatty finish. So delicious. The cocktails were smooth. The Cabernet was disappointing (but for $10, it was ok). The Malbec and Pinot Noir had a richer body and worth it. We had an excellent experience here. The food was great and the staff were on top of it! And with one of the best happy hours, we will definitely be back!

This was my second time at Josephine House, and as expected, it was delicious! I met a friend for breakfast, and we made a reservation in advance. We were seated immediately at a table inside, in their beautiful dining area. I was so thankful to have the inside table, since it was in the 90s outside, even at 9am! The dining area has a few 2-top tables, as well as 2 longer tables for groups of 4-6 people. We sat at a 2-top, and it was the perfect size for us, as well as pretty comfortable wooden chairs. Also, pastries are displayed at the end of the dining room, making it really easy to choose what you want! I thought this was a nice touch. The service was attentive and quick throughout our meal. We never felt rushed, and I appreciated how knowledgeable the staff was about the menu. Although I didn't get the chance to take a picture of the food (my friend and I were too busy catching up!), I ordered the Greek yogurt with a Nutella morning bun to share, and my friend ordered the pancakes with a side of bacon. We also ordered drip coffee, and it came with a french press for the table filled with extra coffee to refill our cups. Parking is limited in the front lot, but there is plenty of easy-to-find street parking in the neighborhood, which is what my friend and I opted for. If you're looking for a local breakfast/brunch spot, this is it!

This place was absolutely beautiful, and stunning. The staff was cheerful, knowing and attentive. We sat outdoors it was a warm day but the sunshades were fantastic. The pancakes, and eggs Benedict were so good!! The vanilla latte is made with house made syrup. This place is a hidden gem in Austin! If you're in town- RUNNING HERE is the thing to do and order all the pastries on the menu!

This place was so cute!!!!! It was literally little house!!! It was a bit loud and alittle cloud but it's okay The service was good, when we walked in about 12 on a sunday it wasn't as packed but as we were leaving the crowd came. We both got the steak breakfast but it was absolutely amazing!!!! The coffee was good and the sourdough bread OMG!!!! so good! We didn't care about the chimichurrie sauce so much it was giving chipotle sauce rather than the green sauce. I will definitely be back!

Definitely worth checking out for brunch. Make sure you make reservations! Cons: Parking SUCKS! Ended up parking a few streets over because it's impossible to find anything close enough. Cute and cozy environment inside. Their iced vanilla latte is a MUST have. It was sooo delicious. For my meal I had the Huevos Rancheros and added avocado on the side. The dish was very yummy and highly recommend it.
